The theme today is creativity - enjoy!

#1 Blame It On The Pop
This is a big mash up of the top tracks of 2009 and it works really well – I’d probably go out and buy it! Check it out below, and tell me what you think.

#2 “Absolutely hilarious yet amazing caricatures of celebrities
I absolutely love stuff like this and often when I see an artist in the street doing them, I can’t resust temptation. I had one done last year, and I love the moment when they turn it round to show you because you never know what it’s going to look like!

#3 1o Clever and Effective Series Advertisements
Eventually I want to work in advertising, but these are on a whole other level – how do they even come up with things like this? Personal favourites are BMW, and Red Cross but let me know which ones catch your eye!

#4 10 Words You Need To Stop Misspelling
If I stop by a blog and the author can’t spell then I leave, and never go back. If you have an audience in mind, don’t insult them and humiliate yourself by spelling the most simple things wrong. As useful as the above article is, it’s also quirky and funny!

#5 97 Free Floral Vector Backgrounds
I’m a big fan of pretty – pretty makes the world go round… and these are very pretty. Go there. NOW.

On a Monday, I seem to spend of half my time sleeping and the other half clicking on various web links hoping that they will pass the time somehow. So, in honour of my mindless web browsing, particularly on Mondays, I’ve decided to dedicate one post per week to the five sites that have managed to catch my attention making that particular weeks Monday a little bit easier. There may be a theme involved, or it may just be random sites – this week it’s the latter.

#1 – Looking at the Past from Abduzeedo

This article takes photos from the past and places them with a photo of the same place taken recently – it’s quite fascinating and I love how carefully the photos are placed in each picture.

#2 – The Arrow of Time by Diego Goldberg

One of my favourite web pages of all time, oh yeah, EPIC. Each year this family sit down and have a picture, then it’s uploaded to the website just because it’s interesting. They’ve been doing it since 1976, and it’s strange to see the subtle changes and new additions each year. Go there now.

#3 Brandy at It’s Like I’m… mmmagic!

After going through my daily ritual of reading various blogs, I couldn’t help but notice Brandy in most of them. You can read her plea here – send her lots of love because she’s going through a very very tough time at the moment.

#4 The Ultimate Shut Down Line by Seth Green

This video is hilariously funny anyway what with Robin Williams featuring in it, but the laugh-out-loud moment comes from Seth Green talking about the ultimate shut down line about 2.20mins in.

#5 Cafe World on Facebook

This application is insane – since when does it take 2 days to cook a chicken pie or a pot roast?! Having said that it I do believe I may need to go to rehab soon to cure my Cafe World addiction.
